School's out!!Fun Snow days!

Hi,Friends!

Snow has finally hit the midwest and looks like it's here to stay for awhile!!Lucky us!!The kids are sure enjoying it as they've had quite a few snow days lately!!Lucky me!!Actually,I have enjoyed having them around!!I miss them quite a bit when they're gone at school!!We try to make the most of their time here when we got a full day together!!Below are some pics of what they've been up to!

Owen made a fort for him and Avery!!He called it their 5 star hotel!So cute!!He put mints on the pillows and scurried around remaking the bed for her when she would come out of the fort.He said the room came w/ free room service so he was the maid for her!

I'm not a winter wonderland fan but trying to be a good sport about it!!It's so much work getting out in this treacherous stuff!!If we could at least be close to a real cool ski resort,you know!

Our New addition

Well,once again it's been awhile since our last post and there's much to catch up on as far as new news goes!!The newest great news is that we've had a new addition to our family which has explained a lot of the absence from here as we are quite busy these days. Liliana Pearl Neer was born on november 22nd,2010 at 9;55 pm and weighed 6lbs 8 oz and was 19 inches long!! At her 1 month visit,she weighed 7 lbs 13 oz and grew a whole inch which is quite remarkable.she is growing like a weed.I plan to start blogging regularly in this new year but have had a hard time in the past keeping up on it regularly so we will see!but,it's a new year so new resolutions,right?

Neer Summer

Well,sumer's almost gone now and have had a lot of new changes since last post!!Biggest news is we're expecting a baby girl on Dec 2nd!so,I'm at 24 weeks now and growing by leaps and bounds!!We're excited and a little overwhelmed w/ all the to do's before baby arrives!!Still looking at baby names,too!!Lillyanna Pearl is runner up so far!!

Owen just started soccer and picked out the loudest color of green shoes that he could!1He says these kicks make him run faster!!So far,he loves it and seems to be a pretty scrappy player!!He makes some pretty good kicks and is a real fast runner!!

Avery finished 3rd grade and is gearing up for her first homeschool year w/ 4h grade!!she's pretty excited about this new venture!!She's doing an online program as wel as still participating in the Challenge program at her old elementary school.She is also doing a one day a week program for homeschoolers that is an all day school setting.I've hard great things about the online program as well as he homeschool program.Definite changes afoot at the Neer household and praying for the Lord to give us wisdom in all these decisions!Avery started soccer as well and plays opposite days as Owen.We just went and got her some new clothes and other gear!!Whoa!Sports are expensive even w/ good discounts but both kids are enjoying so far!!

Neer happenings!!We're back!!

Finally!!I did it!!I'm back to blogging now after a few yrs break!!Man,how do I let so much time go by?Here's for all the grandparents and relatives that we don't get to see as often as we'd like.We are going to have more regular updates for you!!Sorry,it's been so long!!

Avery just ended her 3rd grade yr of school on June 1st and so glad for summer to be here!!

Avie's first day of first grade was Aug 28th!!Here she is getting ready to cross the street and wait for bus!!I can't believe that summer had already come and gone this fast this summer!!Smoky, the vagabond cat beloww never fails to get in most of our outdoor pics!!He causes quite a riot on some nights w/ some of the other Tom cats!!
